Distance is the only real difference between the locations. Closest for everyday use; a named country when the region matters. One tap to switch, same key throughout.
Why six and not sixty
Long country lists are mostly virtual locations nobody uses. Six real ones cover what our customers connect for: two UK exits, Ireland, the continent, Spain for the holidays and the US. If one is slow for you, tell the bot. Load per location is the one figure we do watch.
We do not publish speed promises, because speed depends on your own line and your provider's route. The five free days exist so that you can measure it yourself.
