Somewhere in Settings sits a VPN row, and you may have wondered what is the VPN in iPhone for. Think of it as a master switch: flip it and everything the phone sends is wrapped in an encrypted tunnel, provided an app has filled in the connection details. Why does my iPhone have an empty VPN row?
