Virtual private network app: the key is not an app
The usual route is a branded app from a store. There is another, and it is the one this service takes.
No card, no account. The key is cut and delivered in Telegram in about a minute.
- 60 sfrom the bot to a working key
- 5devices on one key
- 6locations, two of them in the UK
- 0logs kept
- London9 ms
- Manchester14 ms
- Dublin19 ms
- Amsterdam16 ms
- Madrid34 ms
- New York78 ms
Every location runs VLESS over Reality, which reads as ordinary HTTPS on a filtered network.
- Fits v2rayNG, Hiddify, V2Box, Streisand
- No app of ours to lose
- Five devices on one key
- Five days free, then a flat price per term
- No logs, no account
The other way round
Royal Key makes no app. The service cuts a single line of text, a VLESS key, and hands it over in a Telegram bot. You paste it into a free general-purpose client such as v2rayNG, Hiddify, Streisand or V2Box. Those clients are open and used with many services, so there is little for a store to pull and little of ours to lose. The trade is a minute of setup instead of a button, and a client that looks like a toolbox, not a showroom.
What to weigh before installing any app
- ▸What permissions it asks for on your device, and whether the job needs them.
- ▸Who is named as the maker, and whether the maker is reachable.
- ▸Whether there is an account, and what the registration step asks for.
- ▸What the privacy text says about records, in plain words.
- ▸Whether the same client works if you change service.
Price and reviews
The virtual private network price on a store listing is rarely the whole story. Read what the free tier limits, what happens after a trial and whether the plan renews on its own. Here nothing renews and the plans sit in the bot, so you see them when you choose. As for the virtual private network review score, remember that stores let publishers prompt for ratings at happy moments, and a short star average hides what a text review would tell you. Read the middle-length reviews with the complaints in them.
Setting up without an app
The steps are short. Pick a client from the list above, ask the bot for the free days, and paste the line it sends or scan the QR code. Choose London, Manchester or one of the other locations and switch on. There is no sign-in screen at any point. If you change phones, ask the bot to move the key across; if you switch client, the same line goes into the new one.

The ledger
We keep no ledger of you, only of the key
Royal Key holds three things: a Telegram chat, the key sent to it and the date that key expires. No account sits behind them, so there is nothing for a log to attach to, and we never ask for a name, an email address or a phone number. It is a modest claim, and we prefer it to pretending that no jurisdiction could ever reach us.
- No account, email address or phone number
- No record of the sites you visit
- No connection times or IP addresses kept
- No card details: you pay inside Telegram
- No renewal and no charge you did not choose
At the counter
Asked at the counter
Is a client better than a branded app?
Neither is better in every case. A client suits someone who wants to choose the tool. A branded app suits someone who wants one button.
Is there any sign-up before I connect?
No. The bot holds a chat, the key and its expiry date, and no account.
Which free clients read the key?
v2rayNG and Hiddify on Android, Streisand and V2Box on iPhone, and Hiddify on Windows and Mac.
Can I share one key across several gadgets?
Yes, a single key covers 5 devices running together.
Where do the plans live?
In the Telegram bot. The site has no card form.
If the store drops my client, am I stuck?
No. The key is only a line of text, so any other client that reads it will pick up where the first left off.
Question not on the list?
The bot that cuts keys also answers questions. The setup section names the client to install.
